Register for Spend-A-Day. Any high school junior and senior who wishes to be a music major, music minor, or just wants to continue to be involved in music during college.
This is a great way to imagine your future at CU-Mansfield! If you are interested in a taking a lesson with one of our instrumental or vocal faculty, please let us know and we will schedule a lesson time for you. Students may observe classes in other areas dependent upon availability. Most classes will take place in Butler Music Center, but you will also tour campus and enjoy lunch in Manser Dining Hall.
Upon registration we will develop a personalized itinerary that reflects your interests. Location: Room Nathan Rinnert.
Location: Butler Location: Steadman Theater. Meet at registration table. Concert Choir rehearsal Premier large choral ensemble. Lunch With CU-Mansfield music student representatives. Location: Manser Dining Hall. Parents Campus Tour or Free time. Opportunity to visit the campus bookstore in Alumni Hall. Participants will have the option of requesting to minute introductory lessons with available faculty. Lessons will be scheduled based on faculty availability.
The Office of Admissions will be providing instant decisions for prospective students who submit a completed application at this event! Students who submit all the necessary materials will receive an admissions decision by the end of the day. Music majors then only need to complete an audition for full acceptance into CU-Mansfield! Participants will have the option of registering for auditions during the afternoon PM - PM. Audition requirements and registration can be found on the Music Department Auditions page.
